Time for Cake!

To celebrate the first birthday of my blog, I think a cake recipe is appropriate, don’t you?

I am usually not a sweets person, but I looooove this cake that my mom used to make every summer:

Lemon Angel Food Cake


  • 1 angel food cake mix
  • 1 (7 ounce) box sherrif lemon pie filling mix
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream


  1. Prepare angel food cake as directed on package.
  2. Prepare lemon filling according to package.
  3. Cover with wax paper& chill.
  4. Slice cake into 3 layers.
  5. Spread 1/2 of chilled filling between layers.
  6. Fold whipped cream into remaining lemon filling.
  7. Spread over top& sides of cake.
  8. Chill 4 hours before serving.
