Welcome to Malaysia!
Such a fun name for a lost kingdom, if I may say so.
I have heard of Pan Pan before, and in popped into my head as I decided what to declare as my travel daydream today.
Let’s take it to the modern day ‘Pan Pan’ as a destination.
It’s called Terengganu today, and WOW does it ever look inciting!
And as per usual, I like to focus on the natural and cultural aspect to my travels.
Vibrant, wild, and uniquely exciting, Terengganu promises to astound you with an amalgam of wonders. The islands, beaches, marine lives, wetlands, lakes, waterfalls and rivers are among the nature’s best kept secret. Its treasure trove is home to some of the most spectacular wonders of the natural world, including 130 million-year-old rainforest and Lake Kenyir, the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia.
It isn’t only the bounties of nature that will dazzle you while on a visit to Terengganu. The state is also rich in tradition as apparent by the wealth of dances that you will witness performed gracefully by our culture troupe. Traditional games and pastime are still kept alive and played during weekend traditional performance, cultural festivals as well as during official functions. Be fascinated by kite-flying skills as well as the spinning of giant gasing (tops), among others.
