Photo: The Setting Sun

It’s been a very busy few weeks here in and about Toronto. But I wanted to share this picture that, every time I look at it, I relax a little bit and slow down.

This is in Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, on the last day of my two month summer trip. The same moment as the current header on my blog. Great way to end the summer!

Thank you to those who voted for the subject of my new header. Hope you enjoy the winner: Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba.

It was taken the final evening of my 2 month summer adventure – what a gorgeous sunset to top off an amazing, adventure filled summer.

The runner’s up were:

En route to Revelstoke, B.C.

Waterton, Alberta

Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba

It’s gorgeous in this park, and I wasn’t entering this area with very high expectations. Wow – the scenery with the aspens set against the blue sky, the spattering of tiny lakes, and the diverse wildlife (including bison!) kept me happy for the two days I was there. This was the last shot I took in the park.

Definitely a place to return to at some point.
